Fourteen years in, the Chambers Cup enters a new chapter—with Pacific Bogey Club carrying the legacy forward.
For 13 years, Tony from GolfSquatch built the Chambers Cup into an annual gathering at Chambers Bay. This year marked the tournament’s 14th edition—and a handoff: Pacific Bogey Club took over the event, carrying it into its next chapter while honoring the history that brought it here. Taking the reins meant more than putting on a tournament. It meant looking after an event with its own identity, familiar faces, and years of stories attached to it. We’re grateful to Tony for building something worth continuing, and for trusting PBC to help carry it forward.

More than Iconic.
Chambers Bay is a fitting home for a legacy like this. Set above Puget Sound, the course stretches across ridges and hollows shaped by its former life as a gravel quarry. The views are immediate; the golf asks you to stay focused. Elevation, slopes, and changing angles make every stretch of the course feel distinct, with the Sound and distant mountains always close by.
For the Chambers Cup, the course is part of the tradition, but the people are what give it meaning: players returning year after year, friends competing side by side, and new faces finding a place in the field. That’s the kind of gathering Pacific Bogey Club wants to protect and grow—a day with room for good golf, friendly competition, and the connections that last beyond the final score.
All the good, for the good.
The day’s most social tee box was the junction of 12 and 15. There, a closest-to-the-pin challenge turned each passing group into a friendly head-to-head. The shot could come from anywhere; the prize went to whoever got closest. For a few minutes, every group had its own contest—and a reason to stay and talk.
