Culinary Golf Wars
A 2-person scramble in which each team represents one restaurant or café. Teams compete against other restaurants for the Industry Cup trophy, cash prizes, and event honors.
Brought to you by The Bogey Chef.
The Bogey Chef lives at the intersection of golf culture and the kitchen — where competitive spirit, creativity, and community all collide. Known for turning on-course snacks and post-round meals into something memorable, he brings the same precision and playfulness to food that golfers bring to their game.
For Culinary Golf Wars, he’s stepping into the PBC community not just as a chef, but as a creative partner. Together, we’re blending friendly rivalry with bold, intentional flavors — celebrating the joy that lives both on the course and around the table once the last putt drops.
This tournament is where culinary creativity meets competitive fun — and The Bogey Chef is here to stir it up.
Official Rules
Team Eligibility
Each team consists of two (2) players.
Both players must be actively employed by the same restaurant or café at the time of the event.
Eligible roles include owners, chefs, managers, FOH, and BOH staff.
Proof of employment may be requested.
Substitute players are not permitted.
Handicap Requirements
A valid GHIN handicap is required for both players.
Handicap index must be active for a minimum of 60 days prior to the event.
Maximum handicap index:
Men: 18.0
Women: 24.0
Team Handicap Calculation
35% of the lower handicap index + 15% of the higher handicap index.
Example:
Player A: 8.0
Player B: 14.0
35% of 8.0 = 2.8
15% of 14.0 = 2.1
Team Handicap = 4.9
The team handicap will be applied to the team’s gross score to determine the net score.

Both players tee off on each hole. The team selects the preferred shot and both players play from that location.
Each player must contribute a minimum of five (5) tee shots over the course of 18 holes.
